You Bar


I've discovered a cool new protein bar and thought I would share! One of the hardest things for me when switching to paleo is not being able to eat protein bars if I needed a quick breakfast on the way out the door or a snack on the go. Larabars are the only bar I've found that is completely paleo and taste good but there is not much protein in them and pretty high carb. There is a new company called You Bar that lets you customize your own bar! Pretty cool! I just made one that is completely paleo and sounds delicious. Almond butter and date base with Whey protein, cherries, goji berries and coconut, chia and flaxseeds and infused with vitamins. Sounds good to me, we'll see. I'll keep you posted on the taste. so can i eat the whole bar or do i have to also portion it out?

Hi Vanessa-It depends on what type of bar you create. The nutritional label will appear on right hand side and calculate as you build your bar. Mine was 10g protein and 18g carbs so I would be able to eat the whole thing for 2 blocks (small meal) or 1/2 for a snack =)

These things are great. You can create an all paleo bar that tastes great. They are a little pricey but soooo worth it. Thank you for the comment about the 2 blocks per bar, that saved me some work!
